elektraLite Dazer Downlight Makes Its Dazzling Debut

New professional LED pendant downlight fixture officially launches at WFX 2016

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – September 2016 – WFX stand 626 — Featuring a design based on the time-tested and proven Dazer fixture, elektraLite’s new Dazer Downlight puts the same power and intensity in an architectural form factor designed to fit more distinct environments.

“After hearing numerous requests for a pendant version of our popular Dazer, we’re pleased to now offer the new Dazer Downlight,” says Group One Limited’s Tyler Wise, national sales manager for the brand. “This product makes a particularly effective houselight replacement, offering up to a 90 percent energy savings and potential payoff return as short as six months. As a result, the Dazer Downlight is a very attractive option for everything from houses of worship, performance venues and television and film studios to museums, galleries, restaurants and high-end retail environments.”

Available in Warm White (“WW”, 3,400K) and RGBA versions, the Dazer Downlight can also be ordered in a variety of LED array options, as well as custom body colors upon request (black, white and silver powdercoat finishes are standard).

At the heart of the elektraLite Dazer Downlight are 36 powerful five-watt LEDs that combine to deliver the same clean, rich and beautifully balanced light that audiences have grown accustomed to with the original Dazer. Providing clean, flicker-free operation for TV and film applications, the new elektraLite fixture boasts a sophisticated diffraction lensing system with a choice of 15-, 25-, 40- and 60-degree beam spreads. Optics are pre-installed, allowing for quick and easy on-site installation.

Contractor ready, with an easy-to-understand guide for power and data connectivity, the Dazer Downlight sports a terminal strip for data and screw terminals for power. An integrated yoke allows for sloped-ceiling mounting where the fixture will automatically adjust to a proper flat trim. Attachment to the yoke is made via a 3⁄4-inch fan downrod, where cables can also be run to allow for installation with no visible wires. Additionally, a safety cable ring holds the fixture as a second point of safety for secure mounting.
