Improving further on the features of its predecessor, PaintCan 2.0 offers a new set of designer selected super saturated dichroic filters to compliment the full CMY mixing that made the original so versatile.
Achieving reduced noise levels due to an intelligent fan system that operates response to internal temperature, the PaintCan 2.0 can be used in the quietest of venues.
And despite using the powerful GLA or GLC 3200K lamp with integral electronic dimmer, changes to the transformer and circuitry have produced an even more efficient low power fixture.

Overview
Elektralite’s PaintCan 2.0 is the ideal DMX color changing light fixture for Theaters, Churches, Shopping Malls, Retail Stores, Rock Tours, Exhibitions and other applications where there's an opportunity to "paint" with light.
Perfect for painting Stage Floors, Drum Kits, Backdrops, Props, Ceilings, Soffits and Walls using a near infinite palette of colors, brightness levels and beam angles derived from the fixture's CMY color mixing system, internal dimmer and zoom optics.
PaintCan 2.0 is Bright – all the way from the tightest angle to the widest zoom – even at 50 feet, 60 feet or more, coverage is superb. Furthermore, unlike the MSD 250 or MSR 575, its GLA or GLC 3200K (115V) or GKV (230V)
"warm" light source is ideally suited for flesh tones too – making PaintCan 2.0 equally at home lighting the fantastic or the natural! And, as the lamp doesn’t utilize a mechanical dimmer, it’s electronically precise compared to any other color changer in the industry.
PaintCan 2.0 is Colorful – using a CMY mixing system that can be layered with the color dichroic wheel to enhance and deepen the color palette. In turn, any dichroic on the color wheel can be changed to suit the needs of the individual designer, for example; a warmer blue (Rosco R78) could be substituted for the primary blue (Rosco R80).
PaintCan 2.0 is Programmable – colors, lighting levels and zoom settings can be programmed into the fixture's internal 48 memories for automatic playback. And, of course, PaintCan 2.0 can be controlled from any external DMX device.
PaintCan 2.0 is both Lightweight & Robust – weighing only 20lbs, in part due to the absence of any ballast, it can be hung almost anywhere. And, being very small – with no external color scrollers or PSUs to damage – it can be used inside a 12”x12” truss, a pre–rigged truss [the ideal truss warmer perhaps?] or on a six lamp bar with room to spare.
PaintCan 2.0 is Hush, Hush – its use of variable speed fans to maintain a constant internal temperature make it extremely quiet to operate.
PaintCan 2.0 is Economical. This very affordable fixture will be accepted by even the most budget conscious. And, using only a $22US lamp – the GLA or GLC 3200K – combined with variable pre–heat circuitry, owners can keep operating costs to a minimum.
PaintCan 2.0 is Color Coordinated – available in Black and White to blend with or contract your decor.
